Job Description for IT Manager
Experience : 5-10 yrs
IT Skills:
Java, J2EE, J2me, Structs, Spring, MySQL, PHP, .NET, Linux, UNIX, Oracle, Apache, CMS and Joomla.
Responsibilities:
· Identifying the IT needs of the business on an on-going basis and ensuring IT Business alignment.
· Making IT as enabler for the business and providing competitive edge.
· Devising and updating IT Strategy and roadmaps for the business.
· Monitoring and optimizing IT spend.
· Managing overall IT service delivery, and ensuring good levels of services for all end users, customer, partners including user training
· Managing implementation of IT projects within time and budgets and delivering value and user satisfaction
. Should have thw good knowledge of IT infrastructure (storage, computing,network security).
. Effective strategic IT planning and oversight of IT performance.
. Oversee the development and maintenance of the IT strategic plan.
. Approve vendors used by the organization and monitors their financial condition.
. Approve and monitor major projects, IT budgets, priorities, standards,procedures, and overall IT performance.
. Coordinate priorities between the IT department and user departments.
. Review the adequacy and allocation of IT resources in terms of funding,personnel,
equipment and service levels.
